Slogans Can Change The World
Slogans provide a way to your thinking, hence if your thinking can bring up the change in the world, then the slogan is the doorstep to that change. A slogan is basically a phrase expressing the aims, or nature of an organization, enterprise, or candidate; a motto. Its a theme that usually have a genuine role in peoples lives. It has the ability to take peoples time and attention. The word slogan literally means “war cry”. Have you ever come across a slogan that strike your mind?
Many effective slogans were created by Indian freedom fighters, and their only aim was to get freedom from British Rule.
1)Quit India:-The Quit India movement called by Mahatma Gandhi was the most famous slogan of the time. It communicated fully to the British that India was no more controllable to them, and they had no other choice except to find some respectable way to quit India.
2)Inquilab Zindabad:- The Famous Muslim Leader Hasrat Mohani had created the slogan “Inquilab Zindabad” which literally means “Long Live the revolution”. The slogan is synonymous to Bhagat Singh, the Indian youth Revolutionary.
3)Jai Hind:-Subhas Chandra Bose popularly known as Netaji, created the slogan Jai Hind: Long live India. He decided to use the slogan at the end of every meeting, and today it is an official salutation in India.
4)Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is achieved:-Yet another inspiring slogan by the greatest scholar of India, Vivekananda.
5)Vande Matram:-This famous slogan is taken from an ancient novel written in Bengali and Sanskrit by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1882, which literally means “I Bow To You Mother”.
The right slogan at the right time is like an offensive cry for war. Every time you do a protest you write a slogan to convey the message. A slogan has to be short and impressive that can convey the message to the others. No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world if it can change the people.
